Tilly’s HomeHelp and Support

Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to the details you give us through this website, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain.

Who we are

This website is run by Tilly’s HomeHelp and Support, an independent home help business in the New Forest, Hampshire. You can email us at tillyhomehelpandsupport@gmail.com or ring us on 07368 590383. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.

What we collect and why

When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and your answers to the questions on the form (the help you are interested in, who the help is for, and your town or village). When you ask us to ring you back, we receive your name, your phone number and the best time to call.

We use these details only to reply to you and to talk with you about the help you have asked about. What you send is stored on this website and emailed to us, and it is kept until we delete it.

Who looks after the website

The website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design, who process the details sent through it on our behalf. They also deliver the website’s email, and receive its error reports so they can fix faults. An error report can include a visitor’s IP address and what they typed into a form.

Spam protection

Our forms are checked by Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. It loads with the page, before any choice about cookies, and lets Google see your IP address and information about your browser. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that.

Cookies

The website sets a session cookie and a security cookie that every visitor needs for the site and its forms to work. These do not track you.

The website keeps no visitor statistics of its own. If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags (such as Google Ads or the Meta Pixel), a banner will ask you first, and nothing of the kind is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or delete them, and object to how we use them. Just email or ring us.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows when it last changed.
